While tintype photography is Sydney's passion, his skills in digital photography and cinematic videography add versatility to every collection. Whether crafting handmade plates, capturing vibrant digital images, or weaving a wedding day into film, Sydney's work reflects a commitment to creating art that lasts.
Based on Salt Spring Island, Sydney draws inspiration from the beauty of his surroundings and the connections he forms with couples. His ability to make people feel at ease in front of the camera ensures every moment, grand or intimate, is captured authentically.
Sydney is also the founder of the wider Folklore Creative Company, the studio and creative collective Folklore Wedding Company grows out of, so the same team, tools, and craft behind your wedding day carry through everything the collective makes.
