Her work is grounded in observing connection—between people, place and moment, with an artist’s eye tuned to the details, the in-between, and the movement that gives time its shape. She works in digital photography as well as instant film keepsakes, bringing a tactile, layered sensibility to weddings and elopements. Our approach combines both documentary and editorial photography. We document the candid, unscripted flow of the day while also creating striking, editorial-style portraits that feel timeless and artful. This balance means you’ll have photographs that tell the raw story of your wedding alongside portraits that could belong in a magazine spread.
Each of our photographers brings their own unique perspective and style to weddings. Some lean more toward a candid, photojournalistic approach, while others have a refined, editorial eye. We encourage you to explore the work of each of our photographers to get a sense of who resonates most with your vision. No matter who you choose, you’ll receive a thoughtful, beautifully curated gallery that reflects the energy and emotion of your day.
Alongside digital coverage, we also offer analog film (35mm & 120mm) for couples who love the nostalgic feel of film, and tintype portraits, a rare, heirloom process dating back to the 1800s. Together, these formats create a wedding gallery that is layered, romantic, and truly one-of-a-kind.
Yes! Many couples choose an engagement session as part of their wedding photography journey. It’s a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera, spend time with your photographer, and capture portraits you can use for invitations, wedding websites, or just as keepsakes.
Some of our photographers even offer complimentary engagement sessions when you book them for your wedding. Others provide engagement shoots as optional add-ons. Either way, we love these sessions because they give us a chance to connect before the wedding day, and they give you beautiful photos that celebrate your engagement season.
Absolutely. While our home base is on Salt Spring Island, our team includes photographers who live all over Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands, which allows us to cover weddings across the region without heavy travel costs. We’re also expanding further across British Columbia, so no matter where you’re celebrating, chances are we’ll have someone nearby who can be part of your day.
For weddings outside our home areas, we’re happy to travel. We’ll arrive early to scout locations and prepare so that everything runs smoothly. Travel fees may apply for certain destinations, but we take care of all our own logistics. Whether you’re planning a celebration in Victoria, Tofino, the Okanagan, or even further afield, we’d love to join you and capture your story.
Each of our photographers offers their own wedding packages, which typically include full-day coverage, edited digital galleries, and options for engagement sessions, albums, or film add-ons. Some of our photographers also provide complimentary engagement sessions when you book, while others include extras like additional shooters or film photography.
Because every photographer has their own way of working and structuring packages, the best way to learn more is to visit their individual profiles. There, you’ll find details about their style, what their packages include, and sample galleries from past weddings. This helps you not only understand the investment, but also get a feel for the photographer who’s the best fit for your vision.
