You’ll see all the big moments, but also the quiet glances, laughter, and atmosphere that make your wedding uniquely yours.

We capture your story using a mix of candid documentary coverage and editorial detail, pairing visuals with music, vows, and speeches. The result is a film that feels natural, emotional, and true to your personalities, not staged or cookie-cutter.

Every couple receives a highlight film, a 4–8 minute cinematic edit that distills your wedding into its most powerful moments. This is the film you’ll share with friends and family, and the one you’ll revisit over and over.

We also offer an in-depth documentary film, typically 30–50 minutes, that goes beyond the highlight reel. This edit includes interviews with the couple recorded before the wedding and throughout the day, as well as interviews with family and friends. Combined with ceremony and reception coverage, it becomes a layered, intimate retelling of your day, filled with voices and stories that give your film lasting depth.

Yes, capturing audio is one of our top priorities. We use discreet professional microphones to record your vows, readings, and speeches so that the words are preserved as beautifully as the visuals. These recordings are then woven into your film, often alongside music, to give your video an emotional core.

The ability to not just see but also hear your vows or a loved one’s toast years down the road is one of the most powerful parts of wedding videography, and we treat it with great care.

We love incorporating aerial footage to showcase your venue and its surroundings. At the moment, no one on our core team is a licensed drone pilot. However, we can hire a trusted local drone operator to collaborate with us for your wedding. Their fee would be added to your package, and we’ll coordinate with them directly to ensure everything integrates seamlessly into your film.

Creating a cinematic wedding film takes time, as we carefully edit hours of footage into a seamless story. Our usual turnaround is 8–12 weeks, depending on the season.

We know waiting can be hard, so in many cases we’ll send a short teaser within the first few weeks to give you a glimpse of what’s to come. The full highlight film, documentary film (if selected), and any additional edits are then delivered via a private online gallery where you can stream, download, and share with family and friends.

We’ll ask about the kind of music you love, but ultimately we select songs from our licensed music libraries to ensure your film is both legal to share and beautifully matched to the mood of your day.

Choosing music is one of the ways we shape the story, and giving us creative freedom here allows us to create the strongest edit. That said, we’re always happy to hear your preferences for style, tempo, or genre, and we’ll make sure the soundtrack feels authentic to you.

Yes, we offer what we call a raw footage timeline export. This isn’t untouched camera files, but rather a full export of all usable footage from your day. We remove rough or duplicate shots, apply a basic color grade, and lay everything out chronologically.

This export is a fun way to watch the complete story of your wedding,  all the clips and beauty we captured, even if they didn’t make it into the final highlight or documentary films. It’s an immersive behind-the-scenes look at everything we documented.

Yes. While Salt Spring Island is our home base, our videography team works all across British Columbia. We frequently cover weddings on Vancouver Island, in Victoria, across the Gulf Islands, and on the mainland. We’re also available for destination weddings beyond BC.

Wherever you’re celebrating, we’ll travel to you and bring the same cinematic, story-driven approach. Travel fees may apply outside our core region, but we keep everything transparent and handle logistics ourselves so it’s stress-free for you.

We recommend booking 8–12 months in advance, especially if your wedding is during peak summer or fall. Videography dates tend to fill up around the same time as photography.

If you’re booking both photography and videography with us, we’ll coordinate everything as one seamless team. If you’re hiring us just for videography, we’ll gladly connect with your photographer ahead of time to make sure we all work in sync on your wedding day.
