Old New Borrowed Blue
Thoughtfully collected vintage and antique wedding rentals and decor in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island: china, candlesticks, velvet chairs, and pieces with a past life.
The collection
Character you can't buy new.
Old New Borrowed Blue is a vintage and antique rental collection based in the Comox Valley, gathered piece by piece over years of estate sales, farm auctions, and lucky finds. Velvet chairs, gold-plated cutlery, mismatched china, crystal stemware, farm tables, candlesticks. Every piece has had a life before your wedding day, and that is exactly the point.
This is not standard event inventory chosen to fill a room. Each item is selected for charm, texture, and the way it helps tell a story, which makes the collection a natural fit for garden weddings, coastal celebrations, barn receptions, and intimate gatherings on private land. Couples who rent from Old New Borrowed Blue tend to be after a table that looks collected rather than ordered.
The collection serves the Comox Valley, Campbell River, and celebrations across Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.
Old New Borrowed Blue is an independent business, not a Folklore service. We showcase their collection here because we love working alongside it on Vancouver Island weddings, and because a collection this good deserves somewhere proper to be seen. Your inquiry, your pricing, and your payment are handled directly with Old New Borrowed Blue. Folklore simply makes the introduction, and can help match pieces to your venue if we are planning your day.
